Create a Single Project

Single Projects are standalone containers for one sermon, event, or topic. Use them when you need to manage all generated content for a single message or event without the overhead of a recurring series.

When to Use a Single Project

Choose a Single Project for individual sermons, one-off events, or standalone topics. It's the right fit when you have a single message or event and want all generated content grouped in one place.

For multi-week sermon series, seasonal campaigns, or any recurring content with a predictable cadence, use a Series Project instead.

Set up a Single Project

  1. From the Projects page, click +New Project in the top right corner.
  2. In the Create New Project modal, fill out your project details:
    • Project Name: What you'd like to call your project (e.g., "Spring Raffle").
    • Project Type: Select Single Project.
    • Workflow Mode: Choose Flexible to allow free edits, or Enforced to require content to follow Draft → Review → Approved → Published.
    • Description: A brief note giving your team context about the project.
    • Target Date: The date your project is due.
  3. Set permissions using the Who can access this project? options:
    • Private: Only you and the people you add below.
    • Ministry Area: Ministry members get access to the default role you set below.
    • Organization: Everyone in your organization gets access to the default role you set below.
  4. If you chose Ministry Area or Organization, set the Default role for organization members to Viewer, Contributor, or Editor. This role applies to everyone who accesses the project through visibility; individual shares override it.
  5. Use Share with specific people to give individuals a different role than the default.
  6. Add Tags to help organize and find your project later.
  7. Click Create Project.

You'll see a 'Project created successfully!' confirmation, and Equip will land you on the project's Generated Content page.
