Source Content is the raw material Equip uses to generate new content within a project. You can add source files by uploading them directly from your computer or by importing them from a connected integration. Once added, source files appear under the Source Content tab, where you can manage them at any time.
When to Add Source Content
Add Source Content when you have existing material (such as a sermon manuscript, video, or article) that you want Equip to draw from when generating new content. Source files give Equip context to work with, helping it produce content aligned with your message or event.
Add Source Content to a Project
- Open the project you'd like to add source material to.
- Select the Source Content tab.
- Choose how you'd like to add your source:
- Upload File: add a file directly from your computer.
- Import from Integration: pull a file from a connected integration (such as Amplify Web).
Upload a File
- Click Upload File.
- In the Upload File modal, fill out the source details:
- Title (required): the name of your source content.
- Speaker Name: the speaker associated with the source (if applicable).
- Series Name: the series this source belongs to (if applicable).
- Scripture Reference: select the Book, Chapter, and verse range (From and To).
- Confirm the file you'd like to upload appears in the modal. To remove it, click the trash icon.
Click Upload.
Import from an Integration
- Click Import from Integration.
- Select your integration (such as Amplify Web).
- Browse the folder structure or use the search bar to locate the file you'd like to import. You can select up to 10 files at a time.
Click Import.
Manage Source Content
Your uploaded or imported files appear under the Source Content tab. Each source file has a three-dot menu to the right with management options:
- Copy Share Link: generate and copy a shareable link to this source file.
- Revoke All Share Links: invalidate any previously generated share links for this file.
- Remove from Project: unlink the file from this project. The file is not deleted from Equip.
- Delete: permanently remove the file from Equip. This action cannot be undone.
